16th Century Village

This charming hamlet, just a 20 minute drive from Lucca, was once completely deserted. Thanks to a 6 year restoration effort, it breathes new life as a boutique hotel for those searching for an authentic Italian wedding. Each cottage has been restored into independent self catering apartments, all with a view. Marry amongst the olive trees in a legally valid civil ceremony. Then to the panoramic pool area for cocktails, an Italian buffet and lively music. Adjourn to the charming Tuscan restaurant for a meal made with local fresh ingredients. Dance the night away or sip champagne in the spa's jacuzzi while you watch the stars light up the sky.

This is truly an ideal location for couples who wish to have both the ceremony, reception and accommodation all in one site. The manager is very accommodating and can even organize a pizza welcome party for the day before the wedding or a pool side BBQ for the day after. If you are looking to enjoy a long wedding weekend with friends, then this is a great venue for you. Recommended for groups averaging 80 guests, as exclusive use of the property is required to hold a wedding. Minimum nights stay vary according to the season.

The self catering stone cottages, many with their own fully equipped patios, are arranged around a central courtyard and each are uniquely furnished with period pieces.

The hotel boasts ammenities such as a whirlpool adjoining the main pool, tennis court, child's pool, large children's playground, and equipped children's indoor playroom. There are 4 hiking trails from the hamlet that lead to scenic walks amongst the olive groves and grape vines, as well as a stable for those who like to horseback ride. The property is completed with a farm where olive oil, wine, vegetables, fruits, and honey as well as fresh wood-oven cooked bread are produced. Much of the fresh produce grown on the farm is then used by the chef at the restaurant to create memorable meals for the guests.
