Where do we start!!! Thank you just doesn't do justice for what you, your company and your suppliers have done for us on our special day.
We decided to get married in Lucca after attending the wedding of our friends Ruth and Brian organised by Gina in 2008. That in itself should be enough of a recommendation for her services. We were so blown away by this wedding that we contacted Gina from My Tuscan Wedding. From the very early email contacts to our reconnaissance visit to Lucca we knew that we would be in safe hands with Gina as she answered all of our questions so promptly. We had a small wedding and the fact Gina understood our vision so well put us at ease so many times during the planning stages. Gina respected what we liked as a couple and let us run with it, even if this meant doing things differently, ie.. our music and choice of flowers!
Gina organised a fabulous pre-wedding party in a beautiful restaurant which made all our guests feel really welcome. The wedding venue, musicians, flowers, photographers, babysitters and bouncy castle (for the kids!) were absolutely amazing. As for the food it's was delicious and devoured by all. Gina and her team were there for the entire event quietly directing and orchestrating from the background. We danced into the small hours and Gina was there till the last! All of our guests are trying to find a couple to marry in Lucca so they can have the experience all over again.
With her exquisite attention to detail, nothing too much trouble attitude and professional manner, Gina thinks of everything and all with a human and friendly touch. Gina you have a fantastic team and the best thing is you all work together. Every supplier you recommended and booked for us were fantastic! I truly mean that!

When we decided to look into Tuscan weddings, we spoke to a few wedding planners, but the instant warmth, enthusiasm and knowledge of Gina made us confident that she was the person to go with and right from the word 'go' she didn't disappoint.
We had a good idea of how we wanted our wedding to look and function, and Gina happily accommodated our requirements, only stepping in with recommendations when they were absolutely needed. They were always presented to us as choices for us to make and were never forced upon us (and moreover, the recommendations were absolutely priceless!). From the moment we met Gina, right up to the wedding itself, we had frequent contact, a clear idea of what and whom was involved, detailed cost breakdowns and easy communication with all involved parties.
She has a fantastic network of contacts for all things related to weddings and without Gina we are certain our wedding day wouldn't have been nearly as successful as it was. On the day itself, Gina and her team helped the wedding run like clockwork, and they were an absolute pleasure to have around us. We cannot recommend her services highly enough and can say wholeheartedly that the benefits she brings to making the biggest day of our lives so memorable are worth every single cent!
All of our guests instantly warmed to her, as did we, and her non-intrusive, polite demeanour allowed the day to run without issue and was all the more impressive, given that we had around 14 nationalities to cater for, not to mention the various dietary requirements and the need to cater for friends with babies and small children. Our guests all left completely satisfied and were all so complimentary of everything Gina helped arrange for them.

We always had our heart set on getting married in Italy and Gina made our dreams come true! We were married in Tuscany last year, and thanks to Gina, everything could not have gone more smoothly. When we first met her, it was clear that Gina had a genuine passion for her work, and would do everything in her power to make our dream wedding happen - which couldn't be said about other planners we had met with previously. Gina listened patiently as we outlined our ideas, and was full of useful tips and suggestions. She provided us with several options for everything we needed, leaving the final choice to us. We never felt pressured to go down a particular route. In additional to the main day, we wanted to organise a drinks reception the night before, and again the day after, and Gina was happy to facilitate the arrangement of these also.
A mixed-religion Irish couple living in London and getting married in Italy meant a nightmare of paperwork, but Gina expertly guided us through it with a minimum of fuss. She was extremely approachable, and was always available for Skype chats to catch up. We always had a sense that everything was under control and on schedule.
In addition to Gina's professional expertise, she also has a wonderful personality. She exudes warmth and goodwill, both in her dealings with us and when we accompanied her to various local businesses. She was clearly very popular with those she worked with in the area, which again was very comforting to us. She was also unflappable, be it in the face of unusual requests from us, or in the event of unforeseen circumstances. For example, despite our big day being in August, the weather forecast was looking bad - so at the last minute, Gina was able to source 100 umbrellas at a great price for us to provide for our guests. Thankfully, the forecast was incorrect and we had a wonderful day!
We could not recommend Gina more highly, she was everything we could have hoped for in a planner, and much, much more. We have remained in touch and even met Gina again in Lucca this year on our anniversary, and we're now proud to call her a friend, as well as the person who planned the happiest day of our lives.

Working with Gina to plan our wedding in Lucca was an absolute dream. As the bride, I wish I could take full credit for finding Gina, but it was actually my husband who found her company - an amazing find which he still does not let me forget! From our initial phone conversations through to our big day, Gina was such a joy to work with and an incredibly professional planner. Gina has such a great relationship with the local vendors who all made us feel at ease and completely welcome.
Our wedding celebration lasted a few days as we had family and friends travelling in from afar and Gina made us look good! From recommending restaurants and bars large enough to hold our boisterous group, to helping us keep our complex American and British paperwork under control, and everything in between, it goes without question that we couldn't have pulled any of it off without her.
All our guests were incredibly impressed with Gina, all her hard work and her great attention to detail. We would recommend Gina a thousand times over and we really feel that we now have a friend in Lucca. Our wedding day completely exceeded our every expectation and our friends and family are still buzzing about what an amazing event it was.

We can't speak highly enough of "My Tuscan Wedding" and specifically Gina Rodriguez. Planning a wedding abroad is a complicated process, but as we were a British couple living in Thailand, it was made all the more difficult. I can categorically say that without Gina's help we wouldn't have been able to do it.
For twenty months prior to the wedding Gina talked us through every last detail of both the service and reception. Thousands (I kid you not) of emails were exchanged, and numerous skype conversations were held with Gina providing us with sample menus, options for flowers, transport, photographer, decorations, music, etc... She even helped me arrange a group of Chinese Lion Dancers to come and perform!
Even with all this, it was the legal side of things where we really owe a debt of gratitude to Gina. She sent us through exact details of paperwork we needed to complete and details of what to ask for when visiting the various embassies in Bangkok. Upon our arrival in Pisa, Gina had already processed the forms for us, liaising with the consulates in Milan and Bangkok, and took us to the correct offices to pay fee's, register and sign documents. Without Gina's help we wouldn't have been able to find these offices, let alone speak in Italian to them and complete the paperwork.
The day itself was wonderful, with Gina being with us from the morning until the dancing had nearly finished. We wanted a wedding that ourselves and nobody else would ever forget and thanks to Gina that is exactly what we got!

It's an absolute privilege to recommend Gina for her work as our wedding planner. When getting married overseas there is a leap of faith when putting the most special of days in to the trust and care of a stranger. With Gina that is a leap that pays a huge return.
We first met Gina a year before our wedding and it immediately felt right. Not only was she warm, enthusiastic and energetic but she took took the time to show us around the city and some potential venues without being even being given the assignment. This theme of operating above and beyond the call of duty was consistent throughout our entire experience and we truly believe there can be none more proficient or dedicated than Gina, not only in the Lucca region but in her profession as a whole.
For over a year between our first meet and the wedding her responsiveness to queries was almost instantaneous and her ability and experience to read our requirement and make it a reality was truly exceptional. We were in the area for the week prior to our wedding day and Gina's support was immense if not invaluable. We truly struggle to comprehend how she managed to do everything to such great finesse within the package we had chosen from her portfolio. The actual day was even better. With a couple of force majeure incidents causing a potential delay to proceedings Gina had a plan B and C ready to spring into action and was completely unflappable and managed to bring proceedings back on track with the minimum of fuss. Her fluent Italian and local contacts add to the confidence that you are in 'very safe hands'.
I can honestly say that the support we received was so overwhelming that it brought me to tears, I cannot speak highly enough of Gina. The only disappointment on the day was that Gina could not take us up on our offer of joining our family and friends at our villa reception, as by then Gina felt like one, by both us and our guests. That is confirmed by her following up with us a couple of times since our wedding. We look forward to catching up again with Gina when we return to the area.

And all the little things you sorted to make our day special, like the cutting of the cake and feeding each other, and the ribbon on the drive as we entered the villa. So many memories.   Getting married abroad initially was a daunting thought. The culture and language barriers were proving to be more than difficult, but then after meeting Gina all our concerns went away and from then we felt like our wedding was in safe and trustworthy hands.
Gina was responsive to all our questions and queries throughout the planning process and because of this we didn't experience periods of stress and doubt as many couples do in the run up to their wedding day. We hired Gina to organise the wedding in September 2011 of our daughter Cathy in Torre del Lago. From start to finish Gina was the ultimate professional, hiring the best in local caterers, florists and photographers. The day itself was a dream - the bride arriving by boat across a still lake at the wedding villa, the civil ceremony on top of a boathouse, the luscious food and excellent wine, the spectacular wedding cake and magical woodland setting by the lake for cocktails and dancing - an unforgettable experience. Gina was simply wonderful!  Right from the very beginning to the end, Gina co-ordinated our dream wedding and nothing went over looked.  We had the most amazing day and so did all our family and friends.  So many times we’ve been told it’s the best wedding they’ve ever been to and how much they would like to return to Lucca.  Not only did Gina – along with the lovely Navyo and Nikka – make sure our special day ran smoothly, but Gina also helped organise a big fun meal and drinks the previous evening which all added to the weekend experience for our guests.  On the big day, everything was perfect – the flowers, the ceremony, the photos, the drinks…  The transport to (and from) our wedding reception was done without fuss.  Marco’s was a terrific venue and he and his staff could not have been nicer.  The views were stunning, the food was delicious and music in the evening was on the button.  Our guests didn’t want to leave!
