If you walk around Lucca, you will most likely admire the churches, the towers, the Palazzo Pfanner, the walls. But as you walk through the narrow cobblestone streets, you will be most rewarded if you pay attention to regular building facades: from huge frescoes on the walls of a bank, to the small insets hosting a statue of the Virgin found on many housesi, a lot of them offer something intriguing, or just plain beautiful to the eyes.
